Recurring on Upsells
Display a Recurring Button on a Donation Upsell to give donors another opportunity to opt into a recurring donation.
Previously, a donor could only opt into a recurring subscription on an upsell using the amount they contributed on the donation page.
Now, you can add a recurring checkbox or radio button to any donation upsell and the donor can choose what dollar amount they would like to subscribe to on a recurring basis.
Merge Parameters
WinRed has a series of helpful URL parameters that you can use to customize your pages and upsells. This lets you personalize the call to action on an upsell with a donor’s first name and state, as an example.
Upsell Pathways
WinRed’s Upsell Pathways feature has had a massive impact on a campaign’s ability to personalize what different donors see through an upsell flow.
Upsell Pathways allow an organization to dynamically redirect donors from a donation page to an upsell based on donor attributes, such as a user's giving history or how they fill out a donation page.
Here are a few examples of how you can use Upsell Pathways:
- Slate with Other Candidates Based on Location: If a donor lives in a specific state, you can upsell to candidates in that state. This is a huge boost for conduiting as you can connect donors with other candidates that are more relevant to them.
- Target In-District Donors: You can display different upsells to donors in your district vs. donors that are out of your district or state. A great example here is using our Volunteer Upsell for donors in your district since they are local and more likely to help out as opposed to someone who lives far away.
- A/B Testing: Upsell pathways will let you split traffic between two upsells to see which performs best.
