Lindsey Graham is ahead of the game and using a tactic that Democrats have used for years to help boost their candidates: Slate Fundraising
Slates on WinRed let a campaign (or any individual citizen) create a list of candidates to split donations with.
Senator Lindsey Graham frequently uses Slates to help raise money for his Republican colleagues and nominees. Here he is helping Blake Masters in Arizona and Eric Schmitt in Missouri:
Here’s how he did it: Lindsey Graham sent an email to his supporters hours after Missouri and Arizona locked in their Republican Senate nominees.
- The email asks for people to support Blake Masters and Eric Schmitt, and explains why their races are essential for Republicans.
- The email links to a WinRed donation page that splits donations among Graham, Masters, and Schmitt
“The Red Wave isn’t going to appear magically,” said Senator Graham. “If we’re going to reclaim the Senate majority in November, we must help candidates in critical races raise more money directly for their campaigns. I’m glad to help great candidates like Blake, Herschel, Adam and others by splitting donations with them on WinRed.”
Lindsey Graham has helped more than a dozen of his Republican colleagues and other senate nominees this cycle using Slates. He’s also supported: Herschel Walker, Adam Laxalt, Dr. Oz, Ted Budd, JD Vance, Ron Johnson, Marco Rubio, John Kennedy, Chuck Grassley, and the NRSC. Last year, we highlighted how he helped raise money for fellow South Carolina Senator Tim Scott.
Blake Masters, running in a major race in Arizona, appreciates the support:
“Senator Graham stepped up to help our campaign, and we appreciate his support and the increase in donations it caused. This Slate feature from WinRed makes it really easy to help each other with fundraising and will be critical to helping us win in November.”
What Candidates Should Do
This year, Federal, State, and Local candidates should use Slates to help ensure the most critical races in the country keep pace with Democrat fundraising. As with anything in this space, just remember to check with your campaign counsel before getting started.
Add Slates to donation pages and Upsells, then blast them out to your email list and social media so campaigns can reach new audiences and have the resources they need ahead of Election Day.
Here’s who you can include on your Slate:
- The Assist: Help vulnerable incumbents who are in a close race or other candidates who have a shot at flipping a blue seat red
- The Local Play: Add State and Local candidates such as Mayors, State Senators, and School Board members to promote your values in your community and state. Be sure to consult with your counsel and confirm this is workable under applicable law
- The Federal Play: Include candidates running for Congress from your state and help retake the majority from Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer
- The Party Infrastructure Play: Support National, State, County, and Local Republican party committees against the Democrat’s GOTV and outreach efforts

A rising tide lifts all boats, and conservatives are stronger together. The more we help other candidates, the more elections we win against the Dems.
