WinRed raises $559 million in 2021, over 3,200 campaigns and organizations use the platform today

WASHINGTON, D.C. – WinRed announced today that it processed $559 million in 2021, including $158 million in the fourth quarter. Over 3,200 campaigns and organizations currently use WinRed, with more than 1,350 of those at the State and Local level.

“Following a record year of fundraising, WinRed is hitting the ground running in 2022,” said Gerrit Lansing, President of WinRed. “Between WinRed’s lower fee structure and continued growth and innovation, we’re putting Republicans at a competitive advantage. We're leaving no stone unturned to ensure a successful midterm election for the GOP.”

On January 1, WinRed officially lowered its processing fees to 3.94%, making it cheaper than ActBlue and helping GOP campaigns save millions of dollars this election year.

2021 Recap:
$80.7 million was processed at the State and Local level in 2021, a 638% increase from 2020, as WinRed expanded down-ballot to equip campaigns at every level with the best fundraising technology on the market.

    • $32 million was contributed to State and Local campaigns in Q4, a 264% increase from Q1.

$209.3 million was raised from first-time donors to campaigns in 2021 as GOP campaigns invested early to build their fundraising programs ahead of the 2022 elections.

    • $63.4 million came from first-time donors to campaigns in Q4, an 87% increase from Q1.
